(GunReports.com) — Magnum Research, Inc.’s new Magnum Lite .22 LR semi-automatic rifle, the MLR22AT, includes an ambidextrous lightweight thumbhole 10/22 stock, a graphite bull barrel, and a 22 LR Benz target chamber designed specifically for semi-automatics. The MLR22AT weighs only 4.25 lbs., has a barrel length of 17 inches, and an overall length of 35.5 inches.
This rifle utilizes the 10/22 trigger group and 10/22 rotary magazines. MRI bolts are manufactured and machined from heat-treated and thoroughly hardened 4140 steel with minimum headspace for better accuracy.
Made from polypropylene with fiber additives for maximum strength, the new stock design features a high comb height to shoot with optics, a semi-palm swell on both sides of the pistol grip, and a molded-to-fit rubber butt plate.
