Glenn Beck Raising Money
for American Sniper’s Family

(GunReports.com) — Mercury One, Glenn Beck’s production company, is raising money to honor Chris Kyle, author of American Sniper and the country’s deadliest sniper. One hundred percent of the funds raised will go to The Chris Kyle Memorial and The FITCO Fund, a non-profit started by Chris Kyle to help veterans overcome PTSD.

Former U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle was the author of the #1 New York Times Best Seller American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History. He was also president of Craft International, a world-class leader in training and security. Craft offers specialized courses for military, law enforcement, and corporate operators, and limited civilian training.

During Kyle’s career he was credited with more than 150 confirmed kills. Kyle’s dedication to his fellow servicemen did not end with his retirement from military. He helped found FITCO Cares, a nonprofit organization for wounded and troubled veterans.

In support of that mission last week, Kyle and Chad Littlefield were trying to help a former Marine, Eddie Ray Routh, recover from the ravages of combat and PTSD by taking him to a shooting range. Although the motivation and details are not clear at this point, it has been reported that Routh shot both men in the back killing them.
