‘Sandlew3,’ was the winning entry among 415 respondents in the April 2010 GunReports.com survey, “Which is better, AR or AK?” ‘Sandlew3’ is the online handle for Lewis C, a Pensacola, Florida-registered user on GunReports.com.
He wrote us, “Well here are the pics of me with my new toy. I love it! My two choices of handgun to mount the M6x is either my Ruger SR9 or my Taurus 24/7. Both are excellent with the M6X.
“I have one as my bedroom gun, and the light/laser combo will blind and produce hits at any household distance. I took the rig to the range, and only a small adjustment was needed to zero the laser.
“At the typical self-defense range, the setup is hard to beat. Recoil from hot 9mm and 45ACP loads did not even faze the M6X. I was so impressed with the M6X that I bought another for my shotgun.
“The units have good quality and are user friendly. I shoot a lot and have two Crimson Trace setups and one Lasermax setup, yet with the flashlight/laser combo, this my first setup and I like it the best. Thanks for the M6x. I’ll do even more shooting now!”
