In the Mossberg International tradition of providing rugged, dependable sporting arms packed with fatures – yet affordably priced – comes the all-new line-up of Reserve Series of side-by-side shotguns.
Like the Reserve Series over-and-under shotguns, these new classic doubles are offered in both Silver Reserve and Onyx Reserve configurations, each in 12, 20 and 28 gauge models. The former features blued barrels with satin-finished silver-colored receivers; the Onyx models are in traditional blue. Chrome-lined barrels with 3” chambers are standard, as is the Sport Set of five interchangeable choke tubes, including two Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified, and Full. Manual extractors provide a smooth, effortless operation of the action, while serving as an environmentally friendly way of keeping spent hulls from littering the range or hunting fields.
Stocks are of select Turkish Black Walnut with a satin finish, and the action is robust, with twin underlugs securely locking of the barrel sets. With the 28 gauge weighing n at a feathery 6.4 lbs. And the 20 and 12 gauge guns at 6.5 and 7.1 lbs. Respectively, the Reserve Series side-by-sides have the weight and balance that makes them a joy to carry, even after hours in the field.
