(GunReports.com) — Browning will introduce the A-5 recoil-operated shotgun into its 2012 product line. However, the iconic humpback-shaped receiver is the only thing this new Browning autoloader shares with its legendary namesake.
It’s recoil-operated with the Kinematic Drive System, has Vector Pro lengthened forcing cones and the new Invector-DS choke tube system. It’s chambered for 3-inch shells in 26”, 28” and 30” barrels. Fitted with an Inflex II recoil pad, stock finishes will include wood in the Hunter model, synthetic in the Stalker line, and Mossy Oak Duck Blind and Infinity with Dura-Touch Armor Coating. Suggested retail prices start at $1400.
