(GunReports.com) — Winchester has added a new deer-hunting shotgun to its SXP line: The Super X Pump Black Shadow Deer model, $520.
The Black Shadow Deer features a 22-inch rifled barrel and 3-inch chamber housed in a black synthetic stock and forearm. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optional mounts that allow easy installation of an electronic or optical sight, but the gun comes equipped with a Truglo fiber-optic front sight and adjustable rear sight.
The rotary bolt features four lugs for solid lockup to the barrel, and the bolt and other components black- chromed for corrosion protection.
The Speed-Plug system allows the plug to be easily removed without tools. A drop-out trigger group allows for easy cleaning.
