(GunReports.com) — Seller “Oregon Guns” has listed a Franchi LAW-12 tactical shotgun for sale in Auction #11139577, pointing out that the model is “permanently banned from importation” and to “make sure to get yourself one of these ‘evil assault shotguns’ while you still can.”
Of course, being able to legally buy a pre-ban shotgun is honey for auction buyers, who have bid at least 20 times (up to $426) for the gas-operated semi-auto made in Italy. “Oregon Guns” calls it one of the most awesome personal-defense weapon ever built, in part because it’s capable of firing four rounds of 2-3/4 inch 12-gauge shells per second.
This particular gun has a flat-black finish in minty condition, and “Oregon Guns” says in the seller’s description that it “looks like it’s been fired little to none.” It’s in excellent condition and is very clean.The LAW-12 has a capacity of 8+1 with the included full-length tube mag. It has a Cylinder bore, alloy receiver, and a synthetic stock with built-in pistol grip — one of the features that make the tactical shotgun a target of importation bans. This gun was imported in 1994.
