(GunReports.com) — Uberti introduced several new handguns at the just-concluded SHOT Show 2013: the 1873 Horseman, 1873 Cattleman 12-Shot 22 LR, and two new models of 1873 Cattleman 22 LRs six shooters.
The Horseman series are Colt 1873 replicas that incorporate a modern transfer-bar safety system. The fit, feel and finish of the Horseman is similar to the old west models, but with improvements that make the gun stronger and easier to handle.
Besides the inclusion of the modern transfer-bar safety system, the Horseman embodies other upgraded features; including a wider trigger, and a smoother, crisper trigger pull.

Uberti’s new 1873 Cattleman chambered for .22 LR caliber features a cylinder that holds 12 rounds of .22 LR and has a color-case hardened frame, with blued-steel barrel, backstrap and trigger guard. The stock is a one-piece walnut grip that’s hand-rubbed to a satin smooth oil finish.

Uberti’s new 1873 Cattleman in .22 LR are full-frame, six-shot revolvers for cowboy-action and target shooters. The Cattleman .22 LR comes in two configurations: one with a color case-hardened frame and brass backstrap and trigger guard; and one with color case-hardened frame and steel backstrap and trigger guard.
All 1873 Cattleman .22 LRs are available in 4 ¾-, 5 ½-, and 7 ½-inch barrel lengths with fixed sights. The stock is a one-piece walnut grip with a smooth oil finish.
