(GunReports.com) — Kahr Arms has announced that shipping will be delayed on two pistols. From the company’s website:
Due to the unprecedented demand on our entire line of American-made “C”-series products, the highly anticipated launch of the CW3833 and the CM4543 has been delayed until late fall.
To our valued customers and dealers, we apologize for this delay. Our staff has worked feverishly during the summer months to catch up but demand has continued unabated for our current products and especially the CW and CM series. We have taken this action to formally announce this delay in shipping until late fall. Please revisit our website in the fall for updates on shipping status.
Differences between the Kahr CW380 and Kahr P380 models include: the CW series has a conventional rifled barrel instead of the match grade polygonal barrel found on P models; the CW slide stop lever is MIM (metal-injection-molded) instead of machined; the CW series slide has fewer machining operations, and uses simple roll marking instead of engraved markings; the P380 comes with two magazines, but the CW series comes with one 6-round steel magazine with flush baseplate. Last, the slide locks back after firing the last round.
Details for the CM45 are not listed on the Kahr website.
