Davidson’s, the firearms, ammunition, optics, and accessories wholesaler, has teamed up with Pietta, Italy, to create eight new exclusive pistol offerings. The pistols are available exclusively through retailers and must be ordered from Davidson’s.
Pietta is known worldwide for their authentic historical firearms reproductions. Following on the success of earlier Davidson’s Exclusive single-action 1873 Western single-action revolvers, these upgraded exclusives feature color case hardened frames and either brass trigger guard, front and backstraps, or steel. The sights are the open fixed type with a notch at rear and a bladed front. These 1873 models feature the traditional four-click hammer.
In contrast to earlier exclusive 1873 Western revolvers, these new exclusives additionally feature fluted cylinders and two-piece walnut grips.
The eight exclusives are offered in 45 Colt, 357 Magnum, and two convertible models are available chambered in 357 Magnum with an additional 9mm cylinder. They come with either 4.75-inch or 5.5-inch barrels and have six-round cylinders.
“Pietta has a long history of making quality reproductions and we couldn’t be more proud of these 1873s,” said Ron Dan, Davidson’s director of merchandising.
All of these Davidson’s Exclusives have been received in inventory and are shipping now to dealers. The various models are listed below.
