Common items like 357 Magnum revolvers usually mean wide supply, as a recent check of www.Gunbroker.com showed when we began looking for a Taurus 605.
According to the January 2008 issue of Gun Tests, the Taurus 605B2, $391, needed some minor work to be an A-grade gun. Online pricing for the gun found on Gunbroker.com showed one gun in a no-reserve auction, #107736830, with a “Buy Now” price of $273, a dollar above the starting bid.
Several other auctions, such as #107264852, put the gun’s price around $300. That’s a pretty good deal for a gun that perhaps needs 10 minutes of tuning to ensure the “cylinder pin doesn’t stick in the forward position from recoil,” Gun Tests said.
