Walther PPK and PPK/S in 32 ACP Return

1

Walther Arms, Inc. has reintroduced the PPK and PPK/S pistols chambered in 32 ACP.

More than 80 years ago, the Police Pistol Kriminal (PPK) broke the mold when it brought a more practical and reliable concealment option to officers with undercover assignments.

“Few guns have withstood the test of time like the PPK,” said Jens Krogh, vice president of marketing and product development for Walther Arms, Inc. “To this day, it’s still one of the most sought after concealed carry pistols on the market. Bringing back the historic PPK/S in 32 ACP will make our consumers, plus overall fans of the world’s most renowned secret agent, extremely excited.”

  • Fixed front and rear sights

  1. Seems like it’s my day for commenting. Years ago – in the early ’70’s – a friend and I went shopping for pistols; at the time, all I owned was a .32ACP Savage model 1907 that I’d bought from a private seller in the ’60’s. We were looking for something with a little more oomph than .32, and found it at a locally-famous gunshop – he a Walther PP, and I a Mauser HSc. He bought first – otherwise, I’d have bought the Walther. I later went back to pick up some Super Vel ammo before the company went extinct, and ended up buying a PPK/S. But something about the aesthetics of the PPK/S pales next to the PP – plus I am of the “longer barrels are better” club. I’ve been on the alert for a .380 PP for years, but all those I’ve seen so far have been .32 caliber. And I’m not sure, given today’s prices for superior armament, I’d be willing to part with the greenbacks for a new .380 PP – although I’d like the opportunity to make that decision. Walther – are ya listenin’?
