Davidson’s, the Prescott, Ariz., firearms, ammunition, optics, and accessories wholesaler, has announced its exclusive variant of the 9mm Luger Girsan High Power MCP35 PI Lightweight pistol, $800.
The aluminum alloy-framed Girsan High Power MCP35 PI LW is up to one-half pound lighter than the traditional steel-frame Girsan High Power. With a compact 3.88-inch barrel and an overall lighter weight of 1.34 pounds, the MCP35 PI LW model may be a better choice for concealed carry for many people.
Each of the four factory variants are optics-ready, accommodating RMS and RMSc footprint optics. Sights are fixed white-dot units. The pistol also has an ambidextrous thumb safety and extended slide-lock lever.
This Davidson’s Exclusive No. 393446 pistol is finished in shimmering silver Cerakote and has checkered walnut grips that are slightly thinner than the G10 grips offered on the factory models. The Davidson’s Exclusive model is the OPS version, which features a Picatinny accessory rail for the addition of lights or lasers.
It retains the flat trigger, optics-cut slide, and 15+1 capacity that comes standard with the factory models. Overall length: 7.5 inches.
