Winchester Ammunition has created the new W Train & Defend brand of ammunition, which purportedly provides a straightforward process when choosing training and personal defense rounds.

Sturm, Ruger & Company’s LCRx is the newest variation in the Lightweight Compact Revolver (LCR) line. Chambered in .38 Special +P, the LCRx features an external hammer that allows it to be fired in single-action mode.

We compared two 1911 handguns from companies not known for those pistols in the May 2012 issue. The third gun was a 4-inch-barrel aluminum-frame Kimber Pro CDP.
