Nosler, Inc. has introduced a new 30-caliber 168-grain Ballistic Tip. The manufacturer of premium grade hunting bullets added the 168-grain Ballistic Tip to enhance its lineup for deer and antelope hunters.
The Nosler Ballistic Tip hunting bullet’s polycarbonate tip resists deformation in the magazine and initiates expansion upon impact. The fully tapered jacket and special lead alloy core allows controlled expansion and optimum weight retention at all practical velocity levels. A heavy jacket base acts as a platform for a large diameter mushroom.
The Ballistic Tip is a ballistically engineered Solid Base boat tail configuration that combines with the streamlined polycarbonate tip for extreme long-range performance in the popular 30-caliber hunting cartridge. Color-coded by caliber, the green polycarbonate tip is nestled in the jacket mouth and streamlined. The heavy jacketed base prevents bullet deformation during firing.
