WILSONVILLE, OR — Crimson Trace Corp. has secured an order to supply the Alameda County Sheriff Office with 1,200 Lasergrips for their Sig Sauer duty weapons. Deputy sheriffs from Alameda County will use the Lasergrip-equipped Sig Sauer side-arm as their primary duty weapon.
Steve Denny, LE Sales Director from CTC said,”The use of Lasergrips have already proven to be vitally important nationwide in reducing the number of incidences that escalate to violence due to the de-escalation nature of the red dot on the subject. Additionally, duty weapons equipped with Lasergrips have demonstrated the ability to reduce the number of errant shots when confrontation is unavoidable.” Denny adds,”Lasergrips can also be a significant cost-saving piece of equipment for the department and the taxpayers. Reducing the possibility of one costly lawsuit can result in savings that far exceed the cost of the Lasergrips themselves.”
