(GunReports.com) — Steyr Arms’ new C9-A1 pistol is nearly identical in form and function to the M-A1 full-size series (17-round magazine) and the S-A1 compact series with its 3.6-inch barrel.
The double-action-only 9x19mm C9-A1 has the company’s Reset Action System trigger mechanism that was introduced in December. The C9-A1’s full-size polymer frame carries drift-adjustable sights in a three-dot configuration, a Picatinny rail on the dust cover, and an integrated trigger safety.
The striker-fired pistol incorporates a keyed safety lock, has a cold-hammer forged barrel with conventional rifling, and a fully supported chamber.
